Through Better Half & Amazon Music, I created a visual component for Melissa Etheridge’s narration of Audre Lorde and the 1979 March for Lesbian and Gay Rights. Eager to work with such significant material, I also have so much respect for the solemn history—so, as in the narration, I aimed to invoke a feeling of hope for the future while acknowledging the incredibly difficult reality this community has endured.

I was responsible for all visual components of this piece, from boards through design, animation, and compositing.
